today there are scoring for the reflection......i will score andrew reflection and andrew will score my reflection....
but because andrew has to remed chemistry first so he late came to the class...because there a rule that who came late to the class he/she wont attend to enter the class so andrew must stay outside during the lesson....i give score for andrew reflection is 84 if i didn't wrong...but my score maybe is 0 because andrew can't score my reflection cause of the punishment...

today when the ball rang i came to the class...but after more than a half hour the teacher didn't came to the class so some of my friend come to the piket....so Mrs anni didn't came to the class because she was sick and she give the task to find a narrative text for story yelling test...but i didn't find it i just stay in the class and playing games with my friend....

today is my show and tell turn...i told about my favorite my favorite thing and the thing is guitar....when i show and tell i perform without preparation so i feel nervous in the beginning but slowly i can calm and finished the show and tell...in the asking question session nina wanted me to play some song by my guitar...so i play maliq song the tittile is "untittled" by i didn't sing i just play the guitar...

she told us when he was in america....she was in america for 6 month more...she told us too that was so cold there so she giving advice to bring so many jacket and sweater because there was so cold..but in the middle of she show and tell i fell sleepy so a sleep..

today we practice the TOEFL test by using radio...the test is so hard because i can't hear the sound clearly..
but i'm not do test alone...i do the test with aini and fadiah so i can cooperated wuth them to finish the practice...after we finished the test Mrs anni check the answer and most of my answer is wrong so with the other...

today Mrs anni wanted us to practice for the TOEFL tes...Mrs anni bring the paper but there only one so the teacher ask one of the student to photo copy the paper....but i don't know why the student who asked by miss anni to photo copy didn't back to the class after the ball rang....so i just sit down in the class and watching movie during the lesson..

today is dian turn to show and tell...he tell us about his favorite thing and the thing is air soft gun...
not only the weapon that he told to us...he bring the kevlar and helmet too...when asking question session adam   want to try the weapon....then dian tell how to use it first after that adam try it...after dian is gusta turn to show and tell but, i didn't attention to his performance so i don't know what he was told....

Today there were English lesson. After rested, the bell rang. I sat down and took out my English book. Then I check the homework from Mrs.Ani. That has finished I do. While waited Mrs.Ani I read again my homework,because maybe I’am still do a mistake. When I finished check my homework. I waited Mrs.Ani came to class. But after I waited, Mrs.Ani didn’t come to class. Finally my friend came from picket room, brought a piece of paper. Mrs.Ani can’t teach on this day. Because she was sick. And in the paper there were a task, we must find a text narrative and then we change it to to the form of story telling. Because I confused, I would search it at my home, so I just stayed in my chair, until the bell rang.

the day was Ayu's, Akbar's and Dewi's turn to show and tell. the first is Ayu. she told us about her phone cell . she also told us about the dangerous of put hand phone in our pocket. the second is Dewi. She told us about her hobby. her hobby was drawing. i think her drawing is very nice. and she like the drawing. the last is akbar. he told us about his favorite thing. that was a guitar.  in the end of his performance, we asked him to played a song with his guitar. and he played"untitled" song by Maliq n D'essential. 

After the show and tell, we continued with story telling.arie was the first. He told us about Jack the Jackal. After that was myself. i told to all of my friends about Lost Ring. then, was Auliya she told us about Beauty and the Beast. Then, Sonya. The title was Boy and Apple tree. Continued with the performance from Nisa with the title Rabbit and Bear, and the last was Natassya with Mouse-deer and Tiger.

Mom anni is very busy because for TOEFL preparation test. Next month, All of 10 student friends would do TOEFL preparation test. She told us some tips for doing the test. And then, she gave us some example question. There were so many type of question from the test. Some student got nervous and scared before do the test. And then Mom Anni told us that we have not to be nervous and scared. Because that was just a preparation test. Mom Anni oredered my friend to copy some page from Mom Anni TOEFL book’s. After my friend had copied the page, she share the paper. But, the time was over, the bell rang. So we couldn’t do the exercise.

After 4 months I studied at Senior High School 2 Cimahi, finally we had a real class. Although I feel little sad, because there so many moment I had done with my classmates. I still fell happy. That day, We would do some exercise TOEFL test, so my friends brought a tape radio from Mom Anni. But, usually The lesson started wit Show and Tell session.

The Show and Tell session started from Sonya. She told us about her diary. She saved her secret at the diary. Then, i tell about my favourite thing. After that, Khalida show us about her teddy bear. 

Finally , The lesson started. We had to complete some listening question of TOEFL test. We did the question in group. I did the with mozes. We did 30 listening TOEFL exercise. I little difficulty to do the TOEFL exercise. Then the bell rang. So, the lesson was over

When the bell rang, All of my friends had stayed at class because we didin’t want get punishment. Then, one of my classmate told us to go to the language laboratory. Maam Anni wanted us to continue the story yelling and show and tell session, while we were doing a task from her. Actually, we had to watch a movie the title is “Tangled”. The story about princess rapunzel. The movie was very interesting. And then, Maam Anni told us that don’t forget to make the review of the movie. Unfortunately, we didn’t watch the movie completely because the bell rang. So, the lesson was over.

When the bell rang, All of my friends DIDN’T had stayed at class, because we know that we would continue to watch movie. And mom Anni would continue the show and tell session and story yelling at teacher room. I hadn’t do my story yelling. So, i felt nervous. And then, finally Mom Anni asked me to go to the teachers room. It meaned that was my turn. I told Maam Anni a story titled Monkey and Crocodile. My story was so short. So I just did the test for some minute. And then, I continued watch the movie. Finally, we watched completely. Then the bell rang. So, the lesson was over.

When the bell rang, All of my friends had stayed at class because we didn’t want get punishment. But, because my friend told us that Mom Anni wouldn’t go to the class. Some student went outside and doing another activities. Maam Anni told us to make group. It contained with 4 member. We had to find the purpose, generic structure, and the example from recount, narrative, and procedure text. And then the result of the task should be post to X-7 blog. I did my task wit Adam, Dzikri, and Fajar. But actually, we didn’t do the task at that time. We just played with all student. Then the bell rang. So, the lesson was over.

In Brazil, several types of exotic birds get smuggled to different countries. While driving to Moose Lake, Minnesota, a crate with a male bluemacaw hatchling falls into the snow. Linda Gunderson quickly finds the macaw, adopting him as her pet and naming him Blu. However, he is unable to fly, which makes him subject to ridicule by the Canadian Geese that frequent the outside of Linda's bookstore.

One day, ornithologist Túlio Monteiro invites Blu and Linda to vacation in Rio de Janeiro, on the condition that Blu mate with a female macaw before his return to Moose Lake, as he is the last male of his species. Linda takes the offer and the three are flown to Rio, where Blu meets a Red-crested Cardinal named Pedro and his Yellow Canary friend Nico. Blu is taken to Túlio's aviary, and falls in love with Jewel, a fiercely independent blue macaw longing to flee into the wilderness. Blu and Jewel are captured by a boy named Fernando and a Sulphur-crested Cockatoo named Nigel, both of whom work for a group of smugglers led by Marcel. Nigel tells the macaws that he vowed to smuggle exotic birds because of his role being replaced on a television program. Blu and Jewel flee into a jungle.

Fernando meets Linda and Túlio, explaining that Marcel forced him to capture birds, before cooperating with the two to find Blu. The macaws meet a Toco toucan named Rafael, who offers to take them to his bulldog friend Luiz to remove a chain connected to their legs. He also tries to teach Blu how to fly, before the three meet Pedro and Nico. Nigel hires a horde of thieving marmosets led by Mauro to capture Blu and Jewel. Pedro and Nico take Blu and Jewel to a bird's Rio-style party, where they perform a duet, but are attacked by the marmosets. Their bird friends fight them, allowing the five to flee. Linda and Túlio are taken to the smugglers hideout. While there, Marcel explains that he will use the Rio Carnival to capture Blu and Jewel.

Meanwhile, Blu and the others meet Luiz. Luiz releases the chain holding Blu and Jewel using his drool. After a brief falling out, Blu and Jewel decide to go their separate ways. When Blu and Rafael learn from Pedro and Nico that Nigel captured Jewel, the four rush to the carnival to rescue her, while Linda and Túlio organize a rescue attempt on the birds.

While Linda and Túlio pose as dancers (in costumes designed after Spix's Macaws), Marcel enacts his plan, using Nigel to capture the birds. On board Marcel's Short SC.7 Skyvan, the macaws release the captive birds out of the plane, but Nigel crushes Jewel's wing by sending a cage down on her while fighting with Blu. Blu uses a fire extinguisher to send Nigel into the propeller of the plane's engine, and the smugglers flee. Unable to fly, Jewel slips out of the plane and falls towards the ocean. Blu jumps out of the plane to rescue Jewel, and finally discovers that he is able to fly. Later, Linda, Túlio and Fernando organize a sanctuary to protect the jungle from smugglers. Blu and Jewel raise three chicks together and celebrate with their bird friends, Nigel is ridiculed for his loss of feathers, and the smugglers are sent to jail.

A drop of sunlight falls to the ground and grows into a magical flower, with the power to heal the sick and injured. An old woman named Gothel finds it and uses it to keep herself young by singing an incantation. Centuries later, the Queen becomes ill during childbirth, and is fed the flower. She is healed and gives birth to a daughter, whom they name Rapunzel, whose golden hair has absorbed the magical abilites of the flower. Gothel kidnaps Rapunzel and hides her in a tall tower, saving the powers of the magic flower for herself, and raising her as her own child. Gothel knows that if Rapunzel's hair is cut, it will turn brown and lose its magic, so Rapunzel's hair is left to grow. Every year, on Rapunzel's birthday, her kingdom releases thousands of sky lanterns, in the hope that the lost princess will return. On the eve of her eighteenth birthday, Rapunzel asks Gothel to let her see the floating lights, but Gothel refuses.

Meanwhile, a group of thieves, led by the charismatic Flynn Rider, steals the tiara of the lost princess from the castle. During the ensuing chase, a horse named Maximus is separated from his rider, the Captain of the Guards, and continues the search for Flynn on his own. Flynn outwits his accomplices and takes the tiara; he abandons them and stumbles upon Rapunzel's tower. Once inside the tower, Rapunzel knocks Flynn unconscious with a frying pan. She hides Flynn inside her closet and confiscates the tiara. When Gothel returns, Rapunzel requests, as a birthday present, a special paint made from white shells from a faraway beach. Gothel leaves on the three-day journey to bring back the shells. Rapunzel makes a deal with Flynn: a journey to the "lights" in exchange for the tiara. Flynn attempts to make Rapunzel end their journey by taking her to the Snuggly Duckling inn, which is full of Gaul thugs, but the thugs are charmed by Rapunzel, who encourages them to follow their dreams.

Mother Gothel sees Maximus riderless and worries someone will find Rapunzel. She returns to the tower to find Rapunzel gone. Meanwhile, the guards invade the tavern, but Rapunzel and Flynn have escaped. The pursuit ends at a dam, which Maximus causes to collapse; Flynn and Rapunzel are trapped in a flooding cave. Believing he's about to die, Flynn admits his true name: Eugene Fitzherbert. Rapunzel admits she has magic hair that glows when she sings. Using her power, they find a way out. Later, when Flynn goes to gather firewood, Gothel secretly meets Rapunzel. Gothel tells Rapunzel that Flynn does not care for her and merely wants the tiara. Gothel gives Rapunzel the tiara, insisting that she tests Flynn by giving it to him.

The next morning, Maximus confronts Flynn, but to Flynn's dismay Rapunzel befriends the horse. The three arrive at the kingdom and that night Flynn takes Rapunzel to see the lanterns. There, Rapunzel gives Flynn back the tiara. Flynn spies the Stabbington brothers and leaves Rapunzel waiting as he gives them the tiara back. However, the brothers tie him up on a boat and sail him across the lake. They reveal Flynn's "betrayal" to Rapunzel as they attempt to kidnap her for her hair's power, but Gothel "rescues" her and they return to the tower. Later, Flynn is arrested and sentenced to death. Maximus brings the inn thugs to rescue Flynn, and Maximus and Flynn race back to the tower. From various clues she found during her adventure, Rapunzel realizes she is the lost princess and attempts to flee the tower. When Flynn escapes on Maximus and returns to the tower, he climbs up Rapunzel's hair only to find her chained to the wall and gagged. Gothel stabs him from behind and prepares to take Rapunzel to a new hiding place, detaching the end of the chain from the wall and trying to pull her away. Rapunzel's gag comes off and she says she will always fight, but promises to go with Gothel willingly if she allows her to heal Flynn. Knowing that Rapunzel keeps her word, Gothel agrees, but before Rapunzel heals him, Flynn cuts her hair with a shard of broken mirror. Rapunzel's hair turns brown and loses its power and Gothel rapidly begins to age. Disoriented, Gothel stumbles around the tower when Pascal, Rapunzel's pet chameleon, causes her to trip and fall from the tower. She turns to dust before she hits the ground.

Rapunzel tries to heal the unconscious Flynn; however, with his last breaths he declares his love for her and says that she was his new dream. Flynn slowly dies in Rapunzel's arms. Heartbroken, she cries, and tearfully sings the incantation. One teardrop, filled with her power, lands on his cheek and revives him. The two embrace and kiss. Back at the kingdom, the royal family has a tearful reunion. In return for finding and returning their lost daughter, the King and Queen welcomes Flynn into the family. "Years" later, Flynn and Rapunzel are married. Along the way, the Gaul thugs fulfill their individual dreams and Maximus becomes a respected official on the Royal Guard.

Assignment (wira)

1. Narrative text is a text which contains about story (fiction/non fiction/tales/folktales/fables/myths/epic) and its plot consists of climax of the story (complication) then followed by the resolution.

A narrative text is a text amuse, entertain and deal with actual or vicarious experience in different ways. Narrative deal with problematic events which lead to a crisis or turning point of some kind, which in turn finds a resolution.

The narrative text short story is telling of a story or an account of a sequence of events. One of the four traditional forms of composition (along with description, exposition, and persuasion). Narration differs from exposition, which can also relate a sequence of events, in that narration need not be factual and may be written from the perspective of a character in the text.

The generic structure of a narrative text:
1. Orientation: Sets the scene and introduces the participants.
2. Complication: A crisis arises
3. Resolution: The crisis is resolved, for the better or for worse.
4. Re-orientation: Optional
5. Evaluation: A stepping back to evaluate the plight

Carlo Collodi is the pen-name of Carlo Lorenzini (1826-90). Collodi is the name of the little village in Tuscany where his mother was born. He was born in Florence, the son of a cook and a servant, and spent his childhood as much in the rough and tumble of the streets of his native Florence as in the classroom. No doubt this stood him in good stead in his two periods as a soldier - once in 1848 when Tuscany rose in revolt against its Habsburg rulers, and again in the war between Italy and Austria in1859.

Collodi starded his writing career as a newspaperman: he wrote for other papers, and also started his own satirical paper Il Lampione (The Lanter) - but the government closed it down. Later he became a government official himself, working as a civil servant for the education department and trying to push through much-needed educational reforms.

In the 1850s, he began to have a variety of both fiction and non-fiction books published. Once, he translated some French fairy-tales so well that he was asked whether he would like to write some of his own. The result was his fist major success, Giannettino, which is a kind of educational fairly- tale. He now devoted himself to writing for children" becouse adults are too hard to please"!

In 1881, he sent to a friend, who edited a newspaper in Rome, a short episode in the life of a wooden puppet, wondering whether the editor would be interested in publishing this "bit of foolishness" in his children's section. The editor did, and the children loved it. The adventures of Pinocchio were serialized in the paper in 1881-2, and then published in 1883 with huge success. The fist English-language version was just as successful on its publication in 1892. The 1940 Walt Disney cartoon has ensured that the character of Pinocchio remains familiar: but the book is far richer in the details of the adventures of the naughty puppet in search of boyhood.

2. Procedure Text is a text that is designed to describe how something is achieved through a sequence of actions or steps.It explains how people perform different processes in a sequence of steps.This text uses simple present tense,often imperative sentence.It also uses the temporal conjunction such as : first,second,then,next,finally,etc

The generic structures of procedure text are:

• Goal / aim ( or title)
• Materials ( not required for all procedural texts)
• Steps ( the actions that must be taken)

For the example

‘’ How to make a sandwich ‘’

( aim/ goal)

You need ( materials)

• 2 slices of bread
• Peanut butter
• A banana
• Honey

What you should do are ( steps) :

• Take two slices of bread
• Spread peanut butter
• Cut up a banana onto small slices and put them on one of the slices
• Pour some honey over the bananas
• Put the other slice of bread on top
  

3. Definition of Recount

Recount is a text which retells events or experiences in the past. Its purpose is either to inform or to entertain the audience. There is no complication among the participants and that differentiates from narrative

Generic Structure of Recount

1. Orientation: Introducing the participants, place and time

2. Events: Describing series of event that happened in the past

3. Reorientation: It is optional. Stating personal comment of the writer to the story

Language Feature of Recount

• Introducing personal participant; I, my group, etc

• Using chronological connection; then, first, etc

• Using linking verb; was, were, saw, heard, etc

• Using action verb; look, go, change, etc

• Using simple past tense

Examples :

My Adventure at Leang Cave

Orientation On Sunday, my parents, my best fruend Novi, and I visited a cave at Maros called Leang-leang . It was my first time to visit the cave, better yet, my best friend came to visit it with me!

Event 1 The cave was famous for its primitive cave wall paintings which were some hand prints and wild boar paintings. The cave and its surroundings was turned into a national park, so it was taken care of. My parents took a rest in a small hut for visitors of the park, while Novi and I adventured around the cave with a guide. We had to climb some metal stairs to get to the cave, because the cave was embedded into a small mountain. Next stop was a place where some seashells littered the ground and some were actually piled into a big mound! The guide said that these piles of seashells are called kjokkenmoddinger, or kitchen trash.

Event 2 The humans who lived here ate the shells and dumped the left overs in their ‘kitchen’. The last place was a small museum where they have skeletons of the humans who lived in the caves. The skeletons along with some roughly made jewelry and weapons were placed inside glass cases for display. The walls of the museum were adorned with photographs taken when they did an excavation there.

Reorientation After a quick lunch with Novi and my parents, we decided it was time to go back home. We really had the time of our lives!

I got an interesting experience because this afternoon was Mrs. Anni turn to do her show and tell, I bet she talked about her favourite when she was in United States of America.

First of all, she got an ILEP scholarship with one condition she had to pass the test then she got it and she was very happy.

Shortly the first was to go to Kentucky State but it was pity because there was on winter season

So I could imagine how cool there, the second was experience when she was in Hawaii State and she prefered Kentucky State than Hawaii State and then she met people from different country like Ghana, India and so on, in my mind one day I want to be like her but I have study hard.

My activity this afternoon in the class, there was assignment which was given to us, so we were divided into several group and the point was to find the purpose, generic structure, and the example from recount, narrative, and procedure text.And then the result of the task should be post to X-7 blog but the time for doing that assignment was not enough when the bell rang.

The day that I waited for was coming, I was very eager and I was not patient immediately to watch continuing movie and here was the plot: Years later, on the eve of Rapunzel’s (Mandy Moore) 18^th birthday, Gothel embarks on a three-day journey to find a gift for her “daughter.” (Rapunzel has been raised to believe that not only is Gothel her mother, but that the outside world is dangerous and full of people looking to steal her hair.) It’s during this time that a lovable thief named Flynn Rider (Zachary Levi) bursts into Rapunzel’s life, as he attempts to escape from his various pursuers by hiding in her remote tower. Though initially suspicious of Flynn's intentions, Rapunzel eventually embarks on a whirlwind tour of the outside world with her new friend – though Gothel isn’t going to let her own personal fountain of youth escape without a fight.

I was very satisfied after watching that movie.

This afternoon Mrs. Anni ordered us to watch a cartoon movie that was held in language lab, the movie tittle is Tangled. Here was the plot of the story : Inspired by the Brothers Grimm fairy tale Rapunzel, Tangled unfolds in a magical realm where an evil witch named Gothel (Donna Murphy) has managed to stay eternally young thanks to a special healing plant. But after the kingdom’s Queen almost dies during childbirth, the King sends out his men to retrieve the plant and uses it save the lives of both his wife and his newborn daughter, Rapunzel. This obviously doesn’t sit well with Gothel, and the villainous witch, after learning that the baby now possesses the plant’s healing powers, kidnaps the kid and locks her away in a hidden tower.

But pity of us the time was over when the movie had not finished yet, Mrs. Anni told us that the movie would be continued in the next english lesson time
